Introduction
For project and customer documentation, I prefer Atlassian Confluence, which is available on demand. Basically, it is a professional wiki software. Users can work on their topics, collaborate with task, comments and more.
With Confluence, it is possible to create clear and well-formatted content. By using simple design templates, it is possible to export whole documentation into html or PDF.
New design
Now, Atlassian has introduced Confluence 5.0. The whole layout is revised and looks refreshing.
html5 Gliffy plugin
One of my favourite plugins is Gliffy, which helps to create diagrams directly in the browser. There is no need for MS Visio anymore. The disadvantage of Gliffy was the performance: The flash site was very slow and the appearance was not very shiny. With html5, everything changed: It’s fast and comes along in a nice manner. Perfect!
